Abstract

The 11 black-and-white photographs document Edmund Heller's collecting in Africa, 1911-1912. Some photograph descriptions indicate elevation. Subject matter includes vistas, slopes and summits of Mt. Uaragess. Includes image of a date palm, vegetation on north slope at 4000 ft, south pass, north pass and at ranges between 4000-4500 ft. Locations are Mt. Uaragess and vicinity in Kenya.
