Abstract

This field book is comprised of five sections, as follows: Journal (pages 1 - 59): Details plants observed and collected and includes descriptions of surrounding areas. Localities in Alaska (pages 61 - 64): An alphabetical list of locality names along with brief information on how some relate geographically to other localities or regions. Ecological and Phytogeographical Literature (pages 67 - 68): A short bibliography of publications in French and English. Literature Alaskan Botany (pages 85 - 92): Bibliography on Alaskan Botany Microtechnique (page 95): Describes processes for staining specimens to distinguish cuticles, epidermis, and cell walls.
