Abstract

This field book contains a list of botanical specimens collected by Whitman Cross in Colorado from 10 July to 1 August 1901. Collector numbers 1-78 are included. Localities include Camp Creek, Virginia Gulch, and Vallecito (Needle Mountains, Colorado). Some genera of specimens collected include carex, salix, and erigeron. Note from the last page of the list: "besides the above 7 heads of castelleja--concerning wh. Mr. Coville, gave directions as to mounting".
