Abstract

The field notes (1 of 4) are the behavioral observations of M. Moynihan, August 14 - October 14, 1976. Pages are numbered. Observations record appearance, behaviors, interactions, and vocalizations of individuals and groups of birds. Entries include time of day, position in habitat, types of birds, weather, locations of nests, sex, and descriptions of bird calls. There are a illustrations; comments and notes are broken out in the entries. There are references to photographs taken. Locations include Dakar, Mbour, Cap Skirring, and Ziguinchor, Senegal.
