Abstract

Frances E. Carnes's specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 12 May to 25 August 1938 and 26-27 June 1941 in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Ottawa, and Quebec. Collector numbers are 1-185 (discrepancy with title). Specific locations include Beltsville (Maryland), Ottowa (Canada), Montezuma (New York), King’s Mountain in Quebec (Canada), and the District of Columbia. Many specimens also have a F.P.I number or a PEI number, which possibly refers to a specimen in another collection.
