Abstract

This is 3 of 3 folders documenting M. Moynihan's observations of gulls, 1952-1953. Entries are dated, and pages were numbered per entry. Observations cover the behavior, interactions, appearance, and calls of individuals, pairs, and groups of gulls, some specifying little gulls. Entries detail time of day, sex, behaviors in flight, aggression, and presence of other birds. Includes sketches of birds in reference to the text. Notebook 1 covers April 15 - 19; notebook 2 April 26 - May 2, 1952; and notebook 3 April 29 - 30, 1952.
