Abstract

The notes document M. Moynihan's observations of monkeys, 1964, 1967-1970. There are two sets of page numbers and includes some typed materials. Includes typed and handwritten material. Entries are headed with date, location and type. Observations cover appearance, behavior and calls, and include reference to sites previously observed by Alexander Wetmore; includes information like sex, time of day, and description of habitat, elevation, weather, vegetation. Includes illustrations of primates augmenting text and notations indicated by pattern. Comments on observations are broken out from the text. At the end of materials are tables of data from observations. Locations include Barro Colorado Island and Puerto Armuelles, Panama; Colombia (La Deseo, Valparaíso, El Pepino, Santa Rosa, Puerto Umbría).
