Abstract

The notes are the observations of M. Moynihan of Callicebus (Titi monkeys), index and correspondence with John Smith and Eugene Morton, covering 1958-1964. Correspondence reference spectrograms of Callicebus completed on request and study of wildlife vocalizations; a paper on "Social organization of Callicebus" by William Mason; notes on the recordings; index of behaviors with page numbers; and observation notes for 1959-1965. Observation notes follow the format and content of prior described notes of appearance, behavior and calls. Includes notations and illustrations. Locations include Barro Colorado Island, Panama; Iquitos, Ecuador and Colombia.
