These field notes on botanical specimens were taken from 17 June to 14 September 1946 in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and perhaps other states. Specific localities include but are not limited to American falls (Idaho), New Meadows (Idaho), Salmon River Canyon mile north of Lucille (Idaho), Pullman (Washington), Little Pend Oreille Lakes (Washington), Fort Klamath (Oregon), Long Beach (Washington), Mendocino (California). A variety of botanical specimens are collected, especially salix. Locality information is very detailed. Specimen numbers 11601-11888 are included.
