Abstract

These field notes on squash bees (especially on host plants in the genus cucurbita) were taken from 9-17 July 1962 in California and Arizona. Several observations are taken each hour with times noted for each observation. Weather conditions are also noted. Locations include but are not limited to Desert Center (Riverside, California), Wenden (Yuma County, Arizona), Nogales (Arizona), Stanfield (Arizona), and Palo Verde (California).
