Abstract

This item contains loose notes and two note tablets (one of which is blank inside) with notes on xylocopa and osmia in Oakland, California from 1-26 March 1969 and 21-22 February 1970. These notes are observations of bees, which often include several observations taken each hour (times are included), air temperatures, and other information. Also included are "recaps of marking schemes", which are brief tables with the following information: color, date, # and sex, where (ex. dot on thorax). Included throughout the notes and especially at the end of the notes are several diagrams.
