Abstract

This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens, mainly bamboo, collected from 5 March to 25 April 1972 in Brazil. Calderon records taxonomic names of specimens, soil samples, temperatures, when a photo is taken, and several abbreviations such as "FAA" (often related to information about leaves, inflorescence, seedlings) and "3:1" (often related to inflorescence). Collector numbers 2159-2240 are included in this volume. Localities include, but are not limited to Itacaré, Aurelino Leal, Ubaitaba, and Parque Nacional Monte Pascoal.
