Abstract

This field book and loose notes contain bee observations and charts taken in May and June of 1952 in Antioch, California. A table including the following data is included: chart recording time, thermometer readings in ground, air temperatures, bee burrow, light (above ground), wind (above ground), relative humidity (ground). Also included are undated cards that list locality and county, sex, ecology, date, collector, collection number for individual specimens from North Dakota, Kansas, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Nebraska. A sketched chart of the bee burrows is included, as well as a hygrothermograph reading near a nesting site. This item also includes miscellaneous notes that may have also been created during May and June of 1952.
