Abstract

This volume contains field notes taken from 2 June 1926 to March 1927 in Tortugas (2 June 3 August 1926), the Hawaiian Islands (6-27 September 1926), Samoa (4 October to 7 December 1926), and other locations in the Pacific (7 January to March 1927). Notes document fish and other marine life collected. Measurements, sex, data tables, stomach contents, notes on and notes on experiments are also included. Table of contents for locations is on the title page. Typed index of specimens is included in the front of the volume. Localities include but are not limited to Pago Pago (Samoa), Amboina (Ambon Island), and Banda Aeria [Banda Neria?].
