Abstract

This volume contains field notes taken during the summers of 1913, 1914, and 1915 in Florida and Puerto Rico. Notes document fish and other marine life (examples include squid, shrimp, and jelly fish) collected. Measurements, data tables, stomach contents, notes on and notes on experiments are also included. Typed index of specimens is included in the front of the volume. Localities include but are not limited to Tortugas, Sand Key, and Puerto Rico. "Notes upon the significance of bright colors of tropical reef fish, May 27, 1913" included.
