Abstract

This volume contains field notes taken from 31 May to 23 July 1922, 6 June to 24 August 1923, 22 July to 24 August 1924, and 17 April to 24 August 1925 in Tortugas, Florida and surrounding areas. Notes document fish and other marine life (examples include squid, shrimp, and jelly fish) collected. Measurements, data tables, and notes on experiments with putting specimens in different solutions are included. Stomach contents (numbers 1-764) of specimens taken 5-24 June 1925 are also included. Miscellaneous notes are included in the back of the volume, and a typed table of contents is included in the front of the volume.
