Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Texas and Arkansas from 31 July to 22 September 1903. Collector numbers 8812-9200 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Mount Nebo (AR), Van Buren (AR), Denison (TX), Marble Falls (TX), New Braunfels (TX), San Antonio (TX), Columbus (TX), and Houston (TX). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, where the specimen is most common, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
