Perrygo. Correspondence discuss daily workings of Smithsonian, determining sites for collecting, discussion of photographs taken, care and transport of specimens, altimeter readings (January 31 1950), reference to collecting at Coiba Island Penal Colony (H.C. Clark, January 20,1950). Correspondents include John Enos Graf, Louise M. Pearson, Herbert C. Clark, Karl P. Curtis, Charles Lewis Gazin, and Ratibor Hartmann. Included is a list from the American Embassy, Public Affairs Office, of United States Government Officials assigned to Panama during 1950.
