Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Texas from 11 April 4 May 1903. Collector numbers 8000-8285 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Houston (TX), Bryan (TX), Austin (TX), Brenham (TX), Navasota (TX), and Jefferson (TX). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, where the specimen is most common, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
