Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Alabama and Tennessee from 20 September to 4 October 1902. Collector numbers 6921-6962 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Marshall County (AL), Tullahoma (TN), Nashville (TN), and Cowan (TN). Some collector numbers are followed by an "equals" symbol (=) and another number (ex. 6928=6209/2=2159). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, where the specimen is most common, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
