Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and possibly other southeastern states from 14 July 22 August 1901. Collector numbers 4701-4901 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Highlands (NC), Cullman County (AL), Escambia County (FL), Point Washington (FL), Liberty County (FL), and Bristol (FL). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
