Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Tennessee, Alabama, and possibly other southeastern states from 31 May to 5 June 1901. Collector numbers 4501-4700 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Sequatchie Valley (TN), Jackson County (AL), Cumberland Mountain (TN), and Rhea County (TN). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
