Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Tennessee, Alabama, and possibly other southeastern states from 9-29 May 1901. Collector numbers 4350-4500 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Marshall County (AL), Cowan (TN), Cumberland Mountains (Franklin County, TN), and Jackson County (AL). Harbison also includes name of specimen, and sometimes additional information such as measurements, abundance, when the specimen's flowers are in bloom, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
