Abstract

This is 15 of 16 folders of typed and hand written notes covering the observations of L. Walkinshaw in Michigan and Florida, 1987-1991. Includes a variety of formats and content on observation of birds, eggs, and nests. Some include survival of house sparrow eggs and nestlings; observations of birds' nests with species, nest location, nest contents, date and followup observations; egg data (quantity, measurements, weight); correspondence; and birds first observed during the season. Locations include Michigan counties of Calhoun, Ingham, Muskegon, Oceana, Mackinac, Schoolcraft, Chippewa as well as Polk and Osceola, Florida.
