Abstract

This is 13 of 16 folders of typed and hand written notes covering the observations of L. Walkinshaw in Michigan and Florida, 1919-1992. Includes a list of birds first seen of the season in Muskegon, Michigan (1978) listing species, location, and date; notes on birds' nests with date, location, nest (construction, measurements), eggs (quantity, measurements, weight), habitat (time of day, vegetation), map of nest location, and photographs taken; list of plants of Timberlane, Florida; notes for observations and temperatures in Lake Wales, Florida; summaries and combinations of data on birds and nest for a variety of dates; sketches of the work of Dr. Theophilus Randall. Locations include Lake Wales in Polk county, Florida; Muskegon, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Barry, and Crawford in Michigan.
