Abstract

This notebook contains more or less daily narrative entries on fish caught during the Philippine Expedition from 20 March- 15 December 1909. Entries discuss what types of fish were caught, tag numbers, ways the fish were caught, and will sometimes include surface density measurements, measurements of the specimens, and other types of information. Station numbers ranges D5411-D5642. Other numbers, possibly collector numbers, are written next to the name of specimen. These range from approximately 8466-9301 (not in order). Might include information about other marine life collected such as oysters. Locations include but are not limited to the following locations in the Philippines: Mantaquin Bay (Palawan), Santiago, Subah, and Mindanao.
