Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, and possibly other states from 16 August to 3 September 1900. Collector numbers 2761-2966 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Two frequently collected genera include crataegus, a member of the rose family, and rudbeckia, a member of the aster family. Locations include but are not limited to Lexington (TN), Jackson (TN), Bald Knob (AK), Little Rock (AK), Hot Springs (AK), and Bowie County (TX). Harbison also includes name of specimen, measurements, abundance, soil description and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
