Abstract

This album contains photographs from Blackwelder's field research in the West Indies from 1935-1937. Some photos are labeled and numbers. Numbers on photos correspond to photo numbers referred to in Blackwelder's journal field notes. Locations depicted in these photographs include Saint Lucia, Barbados, Saint Vincent, Grenada, Carriacou, Tabago, Trinidad, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint Thomas, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica. Other locations may be depicted, but unlabeled. Photos depict locations or collecting stations where Blackwelder conducted research and other photographs taken during his time in the West Indies.
