This is 1 of 2 folders of notes on field work by L. Walkinshaw completed in Florida on Cranes and other birds, 1985-1990. Includes notes, correspondence with the University of Florida, a research proposal, reports, photographs of habitats, and bird and nest observations. Begins with nest observations by location, dates (repeated visits), nest (construction, measurements, environment), eggs (quantity, measurements); research proposal on factors affecting productivity and habitat use of Sandhill Cranes in Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park, Florida; data table covering nests in Florida during 1938 - 1990 with nest number, date found, nest contents, egg length, egg width, elongation record, county, additional location information, Success (quantity of eggs, hatched, left nest); maps of nest locations.
