Abstract

The 2 notebooks and loose notes cover the field work of L. Walkinshaw during 1979. The first notebook (blue, spiral) includes calculations, travel notes, and observation figures for February - March, year is not noted. The second notebook (green, spiral) covers February - October 15, 1979. Includes tables of observation data with date, time, temperature, and quantity of cranes; vegetation of observation sites; notes of individuals about vegetation observations and environmental management; observations of birds and their songs; and dated data, not identified. Locations include Calhoun county, Michigan. The loose notes cover variety of observations and references to studies on Kirtland's Warblers 1931-1973.
