Abstract

This volume contains notes taken by Harbison in Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, and possibly other southeastern states from 1 June to 5 September 1899. Collector numbers 221-920 are included. Harbison collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Tullahoma (TN), Tracy City (TN), Sand Mountain (Jackson County, Alabama, according to Harbison's notes), Guntersville (AL), Gadsden (AL), and Opelousas (LA). Harbison also includes name of specimen, abundance, and a few words about the specimen's surrounding area.
