Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of L. Walkinshaw in Michigan, 1975. Includes a variety of formats and contents. Begins with a list of birds observations containing type, quantity, location, and date (May - August); detailed notes of birds' nests with date, description of location, eggs (measurements, weight, appearance), and nest (measurements, environment; notes on Cranes, Kirtland Warblers, and other birds; and diagrams of nest locations. The counties in Michigan include but not limited to Ingham, Muskegon, Jackson, Washtenaw, Oceana, Mackinac, Crawford. Includes the Haehnle Sanctuary.
