Abstract

The field book documents L. Walkinshaw's observations of birds in Michigan, 1972. Includes a variety of content and format including hand drawn maps of locations observed. Includes lists of birds including type, quantity, location, and date; includes table of data about birds nests found listing species, quantity of eggs, location and environment description (including measurements), and date; descriptions of Sandhill Crane nests at Haehnle Sanctuary (with map) with details descriptions of parents, nest, eggs, and location including measurements. There are several varieties of tables with data about birds and eggs and Kirtland Warblers. Locations include counties in Michigan: Eaton, Jackson, Calhoun, Muskegon, Alger, and Crawford.
