Abstract

The notes document observations of birds by L. Walkinshaw while in Michigan and Mississippi, 1971. Begins with a list of birds observed in Michigan including type, quantity, location (county and town), and date. This is followed by bird banding data with number, type, date, and measurements; detailed notes of nest observations with date, location (vegetation, environment), eggs (quantity, measurements), and observer's notes; and table of bird observations with type, location, and date. Locations includes counties in Michigan of Muskegon, Allegan, Berrien, Ingham, Delta, Alger; Jackson county in Mississippi; and Huehnle Sanctuary in Michigan.
