The field notes document observations of birds by L.Walkinshaw during 1945-1948 and 1992. Date coverage is inconsistent. Includes birds counts (with common names) headed by date and location in Luce County; annual totals for Luce, Mackinac, Schoolcraft and Chippewa County; notes relating to foreign purchase of property in Green Swamp, Michigan; and observation notes from Baker Sanctuary for October 26, 1992. These include weather, time of observation, and data on observations. A portion in the middle of the notebook is blank.
