Abstract

Number 1 in a series of 1904 botanical field notes. This volume contains notes taken in North Carolina from 22 April to 23 May 1904. Collector numbers 10006-10114 are included. Boynton collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to Busbee Mountain (Slope and Summit), Hot Springs, Aberdeen, Crowders Mountain, and Cedar Cliff Mountain. Boynton also includes descriptions of the specimen, descriptions of the soil and soil type, commonality and abundance, sometimes description of fruit, and additional information.
