Abstract

Number 7 in a series of 1904 botanical field notes. This volume contains notes taken in Virginia from 5-6 October 1904. Collector numbers 10651-10663 are included. Boynton collects a wide variety of plants. This field book contains notes only on crataegus,a genus in the rose family. Locations include but are not limited to Arlington, on the road to Burnsville, Brenford Station, and White Oaks. Boynton also includes detailed descriptions of the specimen, descriptions of the soil and soil type, measurements, commonality and abundance, descriptions of localities, and additional information.
