Abstract

The field book documents the work of L. Walkinshaw, 1920-1968 (mostly 1955-1960). Notes contain listings of sightings organized by type of bird and year, followed by dates relating to sightings, including locations, sometimes time of day and description. Includes notes on Sandhill Crane migrations 1932-1960. Locations include Michigan (Berrien County, Calhoun County, Charlevoix County, Battle Creek, Muskegon County, Kinross, Presque Isle County), Indiana (Michigan City), Lake Michigan, and Canada.
