Abstract

Alexander Wetmore records observations of birds during 1911. The notebook includes several discreet entries. The first is dated October 28, 1911, detailing a collecting event accompanied by Theo Rockland, out to "the Parnell Place", and describes approximately twenty different types of birds observed that day. No specimens from the trip are listed. Several pages later is a bird count (undated). Additionally, another bird count is listed, dated June 28th, stating the site was five miles from a plantation. Most of the notebook is blank. The notebook entries begin again from at the back, and include list of expenditures referring to Maricao [Puerto Rico] dated May 18-29. Additional expenditures are listed at the very end of the notebook, dated 1912-1917.
