Abstract

Three envelopes of black-and-white photographs and postcards made from original photographs depict the observed behaviors of primates. Most are on Barro Colorado Island (Panama) as documented by M. Moynihan, 1960-1967. Envelope 1 includes dated and undated photographs of primates in and out of captivity. Includes a postcard image taken by a colleague of a primate radio tracked in Venezuela in 1974. Envelope 2 includes mostly undated images and some dated June 15, 1967. Subject matter shows a variety of primate behaviors in cages and trees. Appears to include a range of ages. Envelope 3 includes images from January 25, 1960 - April 14, 1960 similar to those found in folder 29.
