Abstract

The is the third of four folders documenting M. Moynihan's behavioral observations of Andean Birds, mixed flocks, in Peru and Ecuador, 1964-1966. Pages are numbered,and entries are headed with date and location. They include colored annotations and references to other notes. Bird characteristics recorded include type (with common name), sex, and quantity. Entries include observed behaviors with time of day, weather, bird counts, vegetation, environment (sometimes with illustrations), and totals on observation time. Locations include but are not limited to the vicinity of Tarma, Panao, and Pachu Pichu [Machupicchu], Peru, as well as Papallacta and Atacazo, Ecuador.
