Abstract

Paleontological and geological field notes of Carpel Leventhal Breger taken in the Watkins Glen quadrangle from 13-27 July 1903, 8-14 August 1905, and on 20 April 1907. Breger describes stratigraphy of locations and fossils found in various strata. This item contains many immaculate sketches. Also included are maps which are numbered along the X axis and lettered along the Y axis to create alphanumeric sections the collector uses to refer to localities. Beneath the first map is a list of boxes containing fossils. An index to the topographic maps is included in the preliminary pages. Some specific localities include Dryden, 6 (Six) Mile Creek, Saw Mill Creek, and White Church Gully.
