Abstract

The notes and illustrations are of young fishes (A-E) by William W. Welsh. Pencil drawn illustrations include images of fish as well as portions. These have notes, measurements, dates of capture, locality, and related data. Arranged alphabetically by species. They relate the work of three Bureau of Fisheries vessels: Albatross, stations 20002-20031 in Dry Tortugas and Key West, Florida (October-November 1919); Grumpas, stations 10459-10481, in Gulf of Mexico (February-March 1917); and the Fish-Hawk in Florida.
