Abstract

The notebook documents work completed off the coast of Louisiana, Texas and Florida, February 14, 1917 - April 4, 1917. Includes Grampus stations 10464-10487. The entries are ordered by stations numbers and date. Includes time of day data was collected, water depth and temperatures, bottom composition, weather, and fish counts (by type). Data for specimens covers type, quantity, and sometimes physical characteristics. Details the results of shrimp trawls. Specimens include a wide variety of fish and invertebrates. Locations include the vicinity of Sabine Pass and Bolivar Lighthouse, Texas, as well as Boca Grande, Florida.
