Abstract

Number 1 in a series of 1902 botanical field notes. This volume contains notes taken in Georgia, Florida, and perhaps other Southeastern states from 25 March to 15 April 1902. Collector numbers 6001-6106 are included. Boynton collected a wide variety of plants. One frequently collected genus is crataegus, in the rose family. Locations include but are not limited to Crescent City (FL), Rocky Ford (FL), Saint Marys (GA), and Milledgeville (GA). Boynton also includes descriptions of the specimen, descriptions of the soil and soil type, abundance of specimens, and additional information.
