Abstract

The notebook documents the work of William W. Welsh during the Florida Investigations, on the Fish Hawk, 10 December 1912 - 18 January 1913. Includes a list of expenses. Entries are dated, and begin with location (sometimes station number), time, air and water temperatures, salinity, collecting activities, followed by observations of fauna and environment. Usually observed fish are referred to by common name. Locations mentioned include vicinity of Pensacola and Garden Key in Florida.
