Abstract

The journal includes notes on the American and Canadian Rockies recorded by Franco Rasetti, 1955. Entries are headed with location, with reference location (usually town or geographic location), and recommendations on method of travel. Entries include description of terrain; section descriptions with measurements, types of fossils found, and characteristics of rock found; and identified formations. Locations include vicinity of Lakeview Island, Idaho; Elko, British Columbia; Pole Creek, Montana; Mt. Field. Includes pasted inserts and maps.
