Abstract

This field book documents Cooper's paleontological and geological field work in Glass Mountain, West Texas from 27 March to 3 April 1966. Cooper includes some description of stratigraphy (some sketches with measurements included) and lists of fossils found at various levels. Sponges, brachiopods, fusulines, bryozoans, metazoans, mollusks, and possibly other types of specimen were found or collected. Locations include but are not limited to Road Canyon, Decie Ranch, Hess Ranch, Lenox Hill, and the northwest side of Dugout Mountain. The maps contain alphanumeric codes corresponding to a locality. What seem to be lists of photographs taken in black and white and color are included throughout the field book.
