Abstract

This field book notes specimen 1-1431 collected between 7 April and 13 October 1899. Boynton collected a wide variety of plants, especially flowering plants. One frequently collected genus is Cretaegus in the rose family. Locations include but are not limited to salt marsh in De Funiak Springs and Chattahoochee, Florida, Chickamauga, Rome, and Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama. Boynton also includes brief descriptions of the specimen and the soil.
