PrintThis field book is number 3 in a series of field books Boynton used in 1900 during collecting trips in Georgia and perhaps other Southeastern states. This field book notes specimen 2434-2657 collected between 24 May and 16 June 1900. Boynton collected a wide variety of plants, especially flowering plants. One frequently collected genus is Cretaegus in the rose family. Locations include but are not limited to Salt marsh in Brunswick, Saint Simons Island, South Altamaha River, McRae, and Stone Mountain in Georgia. Boynton also includes brief descriptions of the specimen and the soil.
